Short on time?
Day One: Just Arrive--We Do The Rest
Your whirlwind adventure in Saigon begins when our guide greets you at the airport. Unless you arrive early in the morning, the remaining time on this day and evening are free for you to see and be seen. The afternoon is yours to enjoy on your own. Why not hunt for bargains in cavernous Ben Thanh, Vietnam's largest public market. Tonight, our evening guide gives you a taste of nightlife Saigon style.
Day Two: A Whirlwind of Sightseeing
Enjoy an early breakfast before you begin a flurry of sightseeing with your private guide around Saigon. After a visit to the History Museum you pass the site of the now-demolished wartime American Embassy and on to Reunification Palace. Later, you visit Notre Dame Cathedral, Saigon's French colonial post office and then the War Crimes Museum. After a noodle stop, continue to Cho Lon, Ho Chi Minh City's Chinatown, crammed with fascinating temples and mysterious, narrow lanes to explore. The market here is older than Ben Thanh, and nearly as large. Your guide will gladly help you negotiate for treasures. You are free tonight to dine with a new friend or step out onto one of Saigon's jam-packed dance floors.
Day Three: Down Time Until Departure
Your morning is at leisure until it is time for us to deliver you to the airport for your departure flight, but why not extend your stay and enjoy optional side tripsin Saigon, Sapa, Hanoi and Halong Bayor the ancient wonders of Hue and Hoi An.
Tet Holiday 2019: We regret that we can not accept Vietnam reservations during the period 04 through 09 February due to the TET (Vietnamese New Year) Holiday. Since it is considered unlucky to work during this period, practically everything closes, everyone takes a vacation, and some prices double. We do not recommend visiting during this time because there are no public festivities and visitors are left with almost nothing to do.
