Travel Groups and MICE. We've Got You  Covered in Asia!

Purple Dragon can also take care of your group, corporate retreat or special event. We do not organize group tours on our own, but we can handle all of the details. Our help could actually save you money in addition to time, sanity and anger management.

We love to take care of groups!

We have plenty of experience with groups throughout our part of the world. We are well prepared to care for groups of four to sixty people following our established itineraries or custom designed programs. We can offer hotels in practically every price level.

Tour Groups

Have a small group? You you can still enjoy Purple Dragon's destinations, service and exceptional guides! We have abundant experience with everything from student group tours to huge corporate gatherings that include creative meeting, entertainment, transportation and fine dining components.

If you have access to a group of people who want to travel together and are prepared to participate in planning the trip, you may be able to travel free or at a substantially reduced cost. We help you plan the itinerary and suggest hotels and activities. All you need to do is supply the group members.

Our prices are very competitive and probably a lot less than you will probably pay if you plan everything yourself. We have well established relationships with hotels and transportation companies that guarantee we get preferred prices. If time also means money to you, we will save you plenty.

Special interest groups are our forte. If you belong to a club or have a group of friends with a special interest--like diving, sailing, cooking, golf, fine dining, shopping or practically anything else--we can tailor-make an itinerary just for you.

For travel agencies or tour companies, your group's arrangements can be branded with your company name instead of ours. We will not put the Purple Dragon name on anything and we promise not to solicit your group members for future arrangements.

Typically, we prefer not to handle one-day sightseeing that does not include hotel accommodation or itineraries in places we do not normally operate. We are not interested in groups with children or programs that are clearly sex vacations.

Meetings & Corporate Events

We also have a good deal of experience with corporate events, meetings, parties, corporate retreats and MICE projects. We have done some very unusual and creative things, including a banquet in Phnom Penh's National Museum served by "statues," a retreat for a board of directors in Dalat with breakfast on a private train. We brought a circus from Saigon to perform in Bao Dai's Villa and invited kids from a local orphanage.

Hotels love to handle meeting and incentive group projects instead of companies like ours because the group never leaves the hotel. Not only does this end up costing you more, but your group gets no exposure to the local culture or the unique activities or events outside the hotel's walls. We know how to turn a corporate group into a unique cultural experience. We also know how to work hand-in-hand with hotels so that everyone involved is part of a productive team that helps you achieve your objectives.

For another group we put on a breathtaking cultural performance in Saigon's Opera House followed by a surprise dinner on the stage. We refurbished the National Water Puppet Theatre in Hanoi just for one corporate event, and put on a dinner in the Temple of Literature. The Vietnamese Army Chorus entered with blazing torches and sang "Hello Dolly." (We don't remember why.) We handled a board of directors meeting trip to Dalat (central Vietnam), where we gave them a surprise early breakfast on a train to nowhere, a blind wine tasting, and a circus brought from Saigon in Bao Dai's villa. (Bao Dai was the last Emperor of Vietnam.) To make the circus even more fun we invited kids from two local orphanages to join. For another corporate customer we put on a dinner (among other things)  in the National Museum in Phnom Penh. We have also handled clubs, weddings, honeymoons, orchid lovers, and even a 40th anniversary trip for 50 for Mr. and Mrs. Satan.

To enquire about what we can offer your group, please contact us and give us as much information as possible, including dates, length of trip, number of people, hotel preferences and special interests.
