Gay Beach Holiday in Cambodia
Two nights in Sihanoukville with a private car, driver and guide from Phnom Penh. People who have lived in Southeast Asia for years describe Sihanoukville as "the next Pattaya." Even Phuket, Puerto Vallarta and Cairns were sleepy, unknown villages once upon a time. Big city Cambodians flock to this seaside resort town on weekends to enjoy sparkling white beaches, delicious seafood and casinos. Sooner or later the world will discover pretty Sihanoukville. Here is your chance to visit the Khmer Riviera before everyone else does!
Day One: The Drive from Phnom Penh
Your guide and private car will collect you in Phnom Penh for a morning drive southward through miles of lush rice fields, groves of coconut trees, and bamboo forests to the Gulf of Siam. Make a stop at the Kirirom Royal National Park (altitude 1200 meters) to enjoy sweeping views of unspoiled nature. Arrive in Sihanoukville in time for lunch. In the afternoon we will accompany you to one of Asia's most scenic waterfalls, then to each of Sihanoukville's three lovely beaches. Stroll, swim or feast at one of the great seaside seafood restaurants while you enjoy the sunset.
Beaches in Cambodia? Of course there are! In fact, Cambodia has the only fine undeveloped coastline in Indochina. So far, there is only one major resort town on Cambodia's map. Sihanoukville is an easy and picturesque drive from Phnom Penh. It also has a small airport and several commerdial flights daily. It is still somewhat sleepy, but if you want a great getaway without the crowds, the Khmer Riviera is still an amazing bargain,
Day Two: Islands on the Horizon
This morning, enjoy an ocean cruise on a chartered boat through the chain of islets off the coast. Fish along the way, enjoy a picnic lunch, and dive into crystal clear water. Later, stop on a nearly deserted island to enjoy a bit of solitude on a beach of your very own. Tonight, why not try your luck at a local Casino ?
Day Three: Beach Time & Departure
Enjoy morning on the beach until your leisurely drive back to Phnom Penh... or add extra nights and stay longer with or without our guide, car and driver. You can later fly to Phnom Penh, Siem Reap or beyond. As they say in our part of the world, "up to you, boss."
