company for dinner. He can recommend restaurants that are popular with local
gays or, if you are adventurous, take you somewhere visitors do not usually

If bars and discos
are not what you enjoy most (of if you want to make your appearance late in the
evening), you can enjoy the spectacular lights around the Grand Palace and
nearby Si Ayutthaya Road. The bustling flower market is best enjoyed at night,
and you are sure to be tempted to leave with an armload of bargain-priced
blossoms.
Most visitors want
to explore the night spots in the Silom/Surawong area. The legendary street
markets in the area are jam-packed with souvenirs, handicrafts, clothing and
jewelry. The area is filled with gay entertainment venues popular with
visitors and expats, and your guide can weave these into walking tour of the
area.
If you have been

style. There are many bars outside of the Silom area that attract a clientele
that is almost entirely Thai. They all play Thai pop music and most have a show
