Vote for Your Favorite Photos! Think you take great photos? Enter Purple Dragon's 2007 Photo Contest and show off your talent! Everyone is a Winner The grand prize winner gets a Purple Dragon holiday in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Pattaya, Phuket, Hanoi, Saigon, or Siem Reap. The prize package is for one or two people sharing one room in one of our "superior" hotels. Three Second Prizes: A free two-night hotel stays in Bangkok, Phuket or Chiang Mai. Five Honorable Mention awards: A Purple Dragon polo shirt. However, everyone is a winner. Enter one, two or three photos and you will receive an automatic 100 Purple Bonus Points with our thanks. Enter four or more photos and you win 200 points! Second Annual Contest We enjoyed our 2006 Photo Contest so much that we decided to make this an annual event. About thirty contestants sent us more than 100 photos and proved just how talented our friends and customers are. If you would like to share your photos with the rest of us, we hope you will enter this year. Contest Guidelines You may send as many photos as you like. Your photos must have been taken in a place where Purple Dragon operates in Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, China, or India. You get extra points if you took your photos while taking a Purple Dragon Tour, and you get extra points if you are a member of Club Sanook, our private travel club. If you are not yet a member, please click on the link below. Joining is fast and free and entitles you to discounts and special offers from Purple Dragon.
Please submit photos in digital format (in other words, no prints or slides) in JPG or PNG format. We prefer high resolution, if possible. Minimum size is 600 pixels wide. No black-and-white or sepia photos, please. Photos with obvious alterations are not acceptable. Send them by email to: photos@purpledrag.com.
Please send photos as an attachment. DO NOT paste them into the body of your
email or your file names will be lost and it will be very difficult for us to
identify and manage your photos.

Photo Contest
Your email or CD should include a list of the photos you submit with the
following information:
1. A descriptive name (like "DavidClimbingGreatWall.jpg") for each photo or
give us a written description separately.
2. The place where the photo was taken.
3. Optionally, please tell us the brand and model of the camera you used and the
month and year the photo was taken. We are considering
publishing this information.
This contest is for amateur photographers. If you make your living as a
photographer please do not enter.
You may enter photos that you submitted in last year's contest as long as they
did not win a prize. Photos from last year may not make up more than half of the
photos you submit this year.
The photos have to be yours, of course. By submitting your photograph(s) you certify that they are your own.
By submitting photos you authorize us to publish any images we believe are suitable on our websites. By submitting photos you agree to allow us to do this. If photos are published in a format larger than 200 x 200 pixels they will be copy protected and the photographer will be credited with a copyright citation. If you DO NOT want your name used, please tell us in advance.
The deadline for receipt of photos is 15 May 2007. Club Sanook Members
will be asked to choose fifteen finalists and winners will be chosen by a panel of judges. Winners will be announced in June 2007. We may disqualify any photo that we deem inappropriate.
Prizes must be used within one year, are subject to availability, and are not valid during holiday periods.
Prizes may not be sold or transferred, have no cash value, and do not include
