Gay Pride in Taipei, Taiwan. Makes you want to go, doesn't it?

B2. This year is the twentieth anniversary of publication of the first edition of Eric Allyn's landmark guidebook The Men of Thailand. The fist two editions of the book were co-authored by someone else. What was his name?

Dr. John Collins. John was an openly gay professional sexologist and also a Roman Catholic priest who belonged to the liberal Paulist order. He was a great gentleman who gave spiritual inspiration to thousands of gay men in San Francisco in the 1970s. John loveded Asia, and Thailand in particular. He was also the next door neighbor of Douglas Thompson, our Managing Director. Together, they planned some of the very first openly gay tours to Thailand for Americans. He died about ten years ago.
