Angkor Wat with time to enjoy Siem ReapOnce upon a time most tourists flew into Siem Reap, spent two mad days seeing as much of Angkor Wat as possible, then fled immediately to the next place on their itinerary. Today, however, more and more visitors are taking the time to enjoy the many other pleasures of colorful little Siem Reap Town. Besides the great weather, low prices and wonderful people, Siem Reap has a greater variety of restaurants, better shopping and far more nightlife than any town its size that we can think of. If you are on a budget and have the time to stay a bit longer to balance your time between spectacular ruins and afternoons beside a lovely swimming pool, we have created Angkor Leisurely just for you. However, this package is available exclusively for Club Sanook Members. You do not have to be gay to enjoy this package. Our mainstream guests choose us because they know they will get something better from a gay company.Angkor Leisurely is for guests who do not want a regimented, overly-active program, so we have skipped the day-by-day itinerary used to describe most of our other packages. This package gives you a lot more freedom to explore and enjoy at your own pace. You get five nights at Golden Banana, a charming tropical hide-away that is within easy walking distance from Siem Reap's Psar Chas (Old Market) area. Daily breakfast and taxes are included. Round trip airport transportation is also included. You also get a one-day Angkor pass (which can be upgraded to a three-day pass at additional cost when you arrive), a full day sightseeing with private car, driver and guide, use of a "tuk tuk" and driver (a carriage pulled by motorbike) with driver for one full day, and a spectacular balloon ride high above Angkor Wat. You can add extra days of car, driver and guide if you like. However, this must be done in advance. Cost for additional days automatically includes an upgrade to a three-day Angkor visitor pass. We also highly recommend our optional side trips to the River of 1000 Lingas, Floating Villages, and others. At the "standard" level you get accommodation in an air-conditioned bungalow with private facilities. At the "deluxe" level you will stay in Golden Banana's new "boutique hotel". Rooms are more like suites or villas and include air conditioning, private facilities, cable TV, and safety box. Most have two or more rooms as well as a balcony. Golden Banana is small and very popular, so we strongly recommend booking as far in advance as possible since availability is limited.
