Katz's Deli is definitely not closing! And the 2nd Avenue Deli (which is Kosher) has reopened. (It is on 33rd between Lexington and 3rd Ave.) I go to these places for pastrami because Boston doesn't have any good stuff. The real problem for me when I am in my Patong home for the winter is HERRING and other fish from Russ and Daughter (a block east of Katz's. This craving never leaves me. (Ken, Boston and Phuket)
